HOME	Action Replay Max Datel THE CODES Action Replay Max come pre-loaded with thousands of cheat codes. Cheats can be downloaded automatically straight onto the PS2 via a Network Adapter and Broadband Internet. If you don't have a broadband connection, cheats can be entered manually either by using a controller, or Datels USB Keyboard. MEDIA PLAYER This is not only the greatest cheat device ever made, but its also a powerful media player. So if you have a collection of DIVX or MP3 files, you can now play them on your PS2 Using Datels revolutionary Max Media Creator. The data is burned on a CD-R in audio format, to which AR MAX uses a special system to read them in the PS2. Sadly, the files can not be read in a PC. MAX MEMORY Even if you don't want to cheat, AR MAX Evo Edition is a great device for transferring saves from your PS2's Memory Card, to a USB Storage Device, to your PC's Hard Drive for unlimited amount of saves (well not unlimited but as much as you can fit on your PC which is quite a lot!). Saves can be downloaded from the codejunkies website straight onto the PS2 with a broadband connection, or downloaded from codejunkies.com or other websites such as gamefaqs to your PC to transfer over with a USB stick. Some Game saves are supplied on the CD. Also if you are running low on Memory Card space (or not) the Max Memory feature can 'Crush' game saves (equivalent to using WinZip on a pc file). It greatly reduces the file size and can be 'Uncrushed' (unzipped) anytime using the feature. Crushed save files cannot be read by games. SEGA MEGADRIVE / GENESIS EMULATOR With the USB Drive, Playing Sega MegaDrive / Genesis roms is easy. Use the PC software to transfer roms onto the USB Drive, then plug it into the PS2 and load up via the Media Player (with this, you don't need to burn a new CD-R when you get 1 or 2 new ROMS). ROMS can also be burned onto CD-R the same way the media files are burned, so if you have a massive collection, games can be stored on a CD. No ROMS are supplied but they can be found on the internet (home made ROMS are easy to find. Do a search on google to find them). I will not answer any emails asking where to get ROMS. EXTRAS Multi-region DVD Enhanced Chat Facility Run homebrew .ELF programs using either a CD-R or a USB Stick. UNOFFICIAL ADD ON'S / EXTRAS I have developed a way to get the cheats working with games on a Hard Drive being played by HDLoader. I haven't tested with HD Advance but I expect it will work.
